5210 information was discussed. Active Play Standards of Practice was discussed and the future requirement for an active play and screen use policy that will be required to be shared with parents.
A wide variety of materials were available including puzzles, dramatic play activities, blocks, games, and seasonal decorations. The children were seen to walk in the wind outside, engage in puzzle activities, and participate in an interactive circle time. The teachers were seen to engage with the children in soft spoken voices, respond to their needs (helping with puzzles, asking a friend for help).
