Comments

Prior to today’s inspection Licensing reviewed emails received from the Licensee outlining steps which have been taken to address the violations noted on routine inspection # KSEY-BHFQ9L
Oct. 30, 2019:
- Start dates added to sign in sheets
- Hazardous items were removed from under the kitchen sink in the 3-5 program
- Bark mulch has been raked at bottom of slide and under the spring toy in the outdoor play area.
- Basket was removed from the < 36 month nap room
- Plug covers were added where missing in nap rooms

Nov. 04, 2019: Walls have been repaired in nap rooms.

During today's inspection Licensing noted that the above-noted items were addressed as stated in the emails of Oct 30 & Nov 4/19.
Licensing was informed that the electrical plug covers have safety features in them and they do no require plug covers.

Licensing also noted that staff have been monitoring the bark mulch in the outdoor play area and raking it to ensure the depth of the resilient surfacing is maintained in the fall zones.

During inspection Licensing observed staff ECE and ECE A certificates in a binder in each room. Should a parent wish to view the certificates in the binders they may do so at any time. Licensing has determined this meets the intent of having the ECE & ECE A certificates be prominently displayed

Licensing left information regarding sections 11(1), and 11(3) of the Child Care LIcensing Regulation (CCLR) with this inspection report.
