Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Manual slicer was found to have food debris between the blades.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure staff properly clean and sanitize the slicer after each use to prevent potential cross contamination. A fine brush or knife and a bright light can help staff clean the slicer and verify all food debris has been removed. Slicer was cleaned and sanitized at the time of inspection.

Corrective Action(s): Ensure staff confine hair to prevent contamination of foods. Contaminated pizza was discarded at the time of inspection.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 3C.
-Pizza prep cooler was at 4C (top and bottom).
-Chest freezer was at -24C.
-Upright freezers were at -18C and -24C.
-Pizzas in the 2 Good 2 Go program were in the walk-in cooler at 4C.
-Pizza displayed at ambient temperature time tracked with an erasable marker board or paper stickers.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 3-compartment sink. Quats sanitizer dispenser is on order. Staff are currently manually adding Quats sanitizer and verifying the concentration with test strips (200ppm). Sink plugs and sanitizer concentrate available.
-Quats sanitizer spray bottle labelled and tested at 200ppm.
-Handwash stations accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Foods stored off the ground and covered.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-Facility serviced by a professional pest control operator.
-No signs of pest noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and sanitary. Handwash station supplied with liquid hand soap and single use paper towels.
-FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until January 5, 2029.
