A routine inspection was conducted, the following observations were made:
- Freezer was -19C; thermometer present; and temperature recorded.
- All foods stored in food grade containers; covered; and 6" off the floor on pallets or on racks.
- Hand sinks stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- Bleach used as sanitizer. No sanitizing solution was mixed up during the inspection.
- General sanitation level is adequate.
- Minor rodent activity noted by "Advanced Pest Control" technician, and few droppings observed in the loading area. Mechanical traps in use (snap traps, glueboards, and catch-all-traps). Monthly monitoring being done. Reviewed recent report by pest company (Feb. 21/19), all in order. Ensure all recommendations made by the technicians is completed (block holes, clean, etc.).
- No expired food ingredients found. FIFO rules being followed. |
