Comments

Very limited food preparation is conducted on-site (e.g. slicing of fruit) . The Clayton Community Hall is sometimes rented out to private groups. Food preparation is very minimal though according to the Coordinator.
No food storage (apart from milk in the cooler) was observed at the time of inspection.
Handwashing station was supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and paper towels.
Drain plugs were available for the double compartment sink.
A domestic dishwasher has been present on-site since June 2016 according to the Coordinator.
A thermal label was provided to them so verify if the dishwasher sanitizes over the full sani cycle.
It was discussed that without monitoring procedures in place (without thermal labels), all food contact surfaces/equipment placed through the dishwasher must then be manually sanitized in 100 ppm chlorine sanitizer for at least 10 seconds.
Reminder: Ensure that at least 100 ppm chlorine sanitizer (1/2 teaspoon bleach per L of water or 1 tablespoon of bleach per gallon of water) is available whenever food preparation is occurring.
No signs of recent pest activity were observed at the time of inspection.
Cooler was at 2.2 degrees C and freezer component was at -18 degrees C.
