Observation: Several items stored in the under-counter cooler ( Hot dogs and mayonnaise) measured between 18-19 degrees C. Best before date on hot dogs package was "Oct 10, 2018" . Evidence of refreezing of thawed out frozen food items ( hamburgers, cheese slices etc.) in the upright freezers. Noticed a jug of milk wiith best before date of Dec 19, 2019.
Corrective Action(s): Discard all perishable/potentially hazardous food items other than sealed cans/bottles of pop/water from the coolers and freezers immediately. Ensure that any perishable items are discarded once they are past their expirty date/best before date. Coolers must be operating at 4 C or below at all times.

Observation: Build-up of food debris, grease and beverage spills noticed on the floor, in the upright freezer. Mould growth noticed inside the deep freezer. Used/dirty buckets with cooking oil build up noticed in the back part of the concession. Noticed grease build-up in the fume hood filters as well as grease dripping from the drip tray. No evidence of annual servicing/cleaning of the fume hood
Corrective Action(s): Clean floors, food storage and preparation tables and equipment (fridges, freezes, grill, deep fryers, hot dog grill) thorougly to remove dirt, grease and food build-up (August 31, 2021). Ensure to submit detailed sanitaiton plan and cleaning logs for the concession including all equipment and utensils.

Observation: Under-counter refrigerator registered 18.3 degrees C at the time of inspection. No temperature logs observed onsite. It appears that cooler temperatures are not being monitored.
Corrective Action(s): Repair or replace the cooler so that it is capable of operating at 4 degrees C or below at all times. The operator or designate must monitor and record cooler temperatures every day. Do not store any perishables in the cooler unless cooler temperatures are monitored every day. Do not keep any leftover of perishable foods (fresh cooked meats, opened jars of mayonnaise, cheeses, milk, cream etc) in fridges if concession is not being used on daily basis (Immediately).

Annual inspection of the concession operated by Langley Minor Football.
Closure Order Issued for several critical food safety and sanitation violations.

The following must be submitted prior to re-opening:
-Written proposal on how the concession is to be operated in full compliance with Public Health Act: Food Premises Regulation.
-Copies of the FOODSAFE certificates for the operator and cooks ( staff/volunteers).
-Revised written Food Safety Plan and Sanitation Plan for the concession.
-Temperature logs and daily cleaning/sanitation checklists/closing checklists.
-Copy of the facility use contract between Township of Langley and the Concession operator outlining cleaning/maintenance responsibilities.
