Comments

- Warehouse for storage and distribution of food packaging products and pre-packaged potentially hazardous foods (bean sprouts, tofu, packaged inoki mushrooms). No food processing, re-packaging or direct handling of unpackaged products. Products are distributed throughout the Lower Mainland. Refrigerated truck used for delivery.
- Bean sprouts are supplied by Bean Sprout King (Richmond) and are picked up from that premises and delivered directly to customers.

- Walk-in cooler was at 2C and supplied with thermometer for temperature monitoring. At time of the inspection, limited quantities of products were present in the walk-in cooler. If additional food product is to be stored in the walk-in cooler in future, ensure adequate shelving is present so that all food products are stored off of the floor.

- Staff washroom (shared with business in front) supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel.

- No signs of pests noted at time of the inspection.

Sublet of premises: At time of the inspection, no issues were noted regarding adequate storage for business now that it is operating only within the back portion of the premises. Washroom where mopsink is located is shared between the two businesses. Separation between businesses is via wall with open doorway.
