Routine inspection conducted at the food store and the following observations were made:

Temperature:
- Walk-in freezer was recorded at -22C.
- Display stand-up freezer at -19C.
- Display chest freezer and overhead freezer compartments at -19C or below. A lot of ice build-up was observed in this freezer.
Ensure that the chest freezer is serviced/defrosted to prevent build up of ice.
- Temperature logs were maintained and found satisfactory.

Sanitation and Hygiene:
- In general, the facility was maintained in good sanitary condition.
- Two compartment sink was available on site and was occasionally used. Both QUATS and bleach disinfectants were available on site.
- Bleach solution was used for disinfection of food contact surfaces. The concentration of bleach was noted at 200ppm and found satisfactory (at least 100ppm bleach is recommended).
- Handwashing station was available and had adequate supply of hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels.
- Washroom was maintained in sanitary condition.
- No evidence of pest noted during inspection.

Storage:
- Food was stored 6 inches off the floor
- All frozen food products were properly organized in the refrigeration units.

COVID-19:
- The facility has COVID-19 Safety Plan in place and found satisfactory.
- A COVID-19 checklist was completed during inspection and emailed separately.
