Handsink was supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and paper towels via a wall-mounted paper towel dispenser near the coffee area.
Handsinks in the washrooms were adequately supplied.
Walk-in-cooler was at 2.2 degrees C (4 degrees C / 40 degrees F or less).
Other coolers and sandwich cooler were at or below 4 degrees C.
Walk-in-cooler and sandwich cooler were equipped with accurate thermometers.
Freezers were at or below -18 degrees C.
No signs of recent pest activity were present at the time of inspection.
100 ppm chlorine sanitizer (1/2 teaspoon bleach per L of water or 1 tablespoon bleach per gallon of water) were setup in the 2-compartment sink at the time of inspection. It was reviewed that all food contact surfaces (e.g. coffee pots) are to be washed, rinsed, sanitized in 100 ppm chlorine sanitizer for at least 2 minutes, and then air dried.
NOTE: Owner/Operator mentioned that they had run out sanitizer packets to sanitize the slurpie machines and would re-order the chlorine or iodine sanitizer packets to obtain them over the next three weeks. They stated that they are using bleach water to setup 100 ppm chlorine to sanitize this equipment in the meanwhile.
