Observation: Rodent droppings observed in the back prep area along the wall and under the prep table and shelving unit.
Corrective Action(s): - Remove the rodent droppings and disinfect the area with 1 part bleach to 9 part water solution. Use proper PPE during cleaning.

- If you have a Pest Control Company, please inform them about the issue to implement control measures.
- Do not store any food products on the floor that could get contaminated by rodent urine or faeces.
- Discard any food products that have visible signs of mice/rat bites or gnaws as there is a risk of potential food contamination.
- Keep all dry food products such as rice, flour, grains in pest proof containers.
- Keep the doors closed and seal any gaps to prevent the pest entry into the facility.
- Regularly clean the above mentioned areas to prevent the food debris/dirt build up that could attract pest into the facility.

Comments

Routine inspection conducted.

Findings:
- Temperature of front prep cooler at 3C
- Front beverage cooler at 4C
- Walk in cooler at 9C at the start of inspection and dropped to 6.8C during the end of inspection. Staff stated that she stocked the delivery into walk in cooler and frequently opened the cooler door which may have resulted in fluctuation in temperature. Internal temperature of food products and temperature logs were verified and found satisfactory.
- Handwash sinks x2 had adequate supply of hot and cold running water, liquid soap and single use paper towels.
- 3 comp sink used for manual dishwashing. Drain plugs available.
- 200ppm bleach sanitizer bottle present.

NOTE - Please focus on implementing adequate control measures to address the rodent issues.

Action required: Please notify the district EHO by email when the ambient temperature of walk in cooler is back at 4C (40F) or lower. A follow up inspection will be conducted as well.
