Observation:
There is no running hot water exiting any faucets. Staff are unable to properly wash and sanitize utensils and cookware. This will allow pathogens to survive on surfaces.
Corrective Action(s):
Immediately call a plumber to repair or replace the hot water tank. Immediately stop the processing of raw proteins and CLOSE the Meat Dept.. Once there is running hot water exiting faucets, contact our office to schedule a follow-up inspection.

Observation:
There is no running hot water exiting faucets as the hot water tank is broken. Staff are unable to wash their hands properly prior to handling food.
Corrective Action(s):
Immediately call a plumber to repair or replace the hot water tank. Immediately STOP the processing of raw meats and CLOSE the Meat Dept. until running hot water exits faucets.

Comments

A routine inspection was completed:
- Coolers 4C or colder; freezers -16C or colder; and thermometers present.
- All foods stored 6" off the floor on shelves and pallets.
- Non-foods stored separately from food items.
- No expired foods for sale. FIFO rules being followed.
- General sanitation level is good. No signs of pests.
- Hand sinks stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running cold water.
- Bleach sanitizer in spray bottle had [Cl2] of 100ppm.

ACTION
Immediately close the Meat Dept. and keep it closed until there is running hot water exiting faucets.
Immediately stop the processing, packaging, and sale of raw proteins.
Immediately call a plumber to repair/replace the hot water tank as there is no running hot water exiting any faucets in the premises.
Purchase more bleach to sanitize surfaces.
