205 - Cold potentially hazardous food stored/displayed above 4 °C. [s. 14(2)] Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): EHO was in communal storage area inspecting another unit when the following items were observed to be stored outside of the cooler unit of the facility: - Multiple boxes of hot dogs - Two, one gallon jugs of milk - One box of greens - Multiple boxes of buns - Multiple boxes of frozen French fries. After completion of the inspection EHO approached Japadog Manager and inspected the storage area (approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour later). Temperatures of the items were as follows: - Frozen items -2 degrees Celsius - milk 16-18 degrees Celsius - Greens 18-20 degrees Celsius CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION - milk and greens discarded, frozen items placed into freezer units . Corrective Action(s): Ensure that staff are taught to respond to deliveries IMMEDIATELY. Items should not be left outside of cooler units for extended periods of time. Once deliveries occur the potentially hazardous food items MUST be placed into cooler/freezer units as soon as possible. Discuss with staff. . Violation Score: 5
