209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)] Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Original bags of dried goods is in various bulk bins with food inside it. Boxes of produce observed to be stored on the floor in the walk-in cooler and throughout the merchandise floor. Corrective Action(s): Remove the original bags from inside the bulk bins containing dried food products. Store all boxes of produce and food items at least 6 inches off the floor. Violation Score: 9

Routine Inspection conducted today. Handwashing sink well equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towels. QUATs spray bottle measured at 200ppm. 3-compartment sink available for manual dishwashing. Bleach and QUATs on-site. Educated operator on 3-compartment manual dishwashing and how to dilute bleach solution in third compartment sink for manual dishwashing of bulk bins and scoops (i.e.: 1:500 dilution). Bulk bin scoops in sanitary condition and stored outside of bulk bins. Produce cooler and walk-in cooler measured at 4C or lower. Stand-up freezers measured at -18C or lower. No signs of pests observed. NOTE: De-clutter the 3-compartment sink area to enable proper handwashing and manual dishwashing to take place. Overall, facility is well organized.
