Corrective Action(s): Ensure all containers are stored off the ground and protected from potential contamination.

Observation: Sink in the bar area had a pipe that was leaking water.
Corrective Action(s): Service pipe and ensure all equipment is in good working order. Leaking water will also cause structural damage and may lead to mould growth.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 3C.
-Prep cooler was at 3C (top and bottom).
-Upright cooler was at 4C.
-Bar cooler (dairy) was at 4C.
-Upright freezer was at -28C.
-Chest freezer was at -12C.
-Hot potentially hazardous foods (cooked rice and potatoes) properly cooled in shallow trays and were at 4C.
-Chemical dishwasher had a final rinse of 100ppm chlorine on the dish surface (minimum 50ppm required for proper sanitizing).
-Handwash stations accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Bleach sanitizer pails were at 200ppm.
-Ice machine was clean and well maintained.
-General food storage practices good at the time of inspection. Foods stored off the ground and covered. Raw meats stored below ready-to-eat foods.
-Scoops stored in a sanitary manner.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-Facility is serviced by a professional pest control operator on a monthly basis. No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washrooms clean and sanitary.
-Operator FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until March 4, 2025.
