Observation:
The door guard/sweep at the base of the loading door is falling off in areas and is creating an opening that could allow pests (rodents) in.
Corrective Action(s):
Install new door guard/sweep along the base of the loading door to exclude pests.

308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation:
The first and second dispensing taps, in the front retail area, constantly drip and/or leak and there is piece of cloth being used around the pipe. Cloth is not acceptable as it will remain damp and encourage the growth of bacteria and mold. The constantly dripping/leaking taps will create a constant moist environment for mold and mildew to develop.
Corrective Action(s):
Repair or replace the leaking and/or dripping taps, and remove the cloth so that the taps can fully shut off water and the materials used are food grade, durable, washable, sealed, and non-absorbant.

Observation:
The ozone/treatment room is cluttered with parts, piping and other items that do not directly require the system to work. The cluttered area creates a space that is difficult to clean as well.
Corrective Action(s):
Remove all items that do not require to be stored in the ozone/treatement room. All unnecessary items shall be discarded or removed from the premises, or stored in the appropriate area.

Comments

A routine inspection was conducted, the following observations were made:
- FRP paneling was installed around the bottle filling station from floor to 15ft up the wall. The surface is durable, sealed, and cleanable. Great job.
- Water bottle cleaning and filling machine was clean and in working order.
- The ozone/treatment room had no pooling water and a schedule is present which ensures filters changed.
- General sanitation level is adequate.
- No signs of pests.
- All water bottles and items are stored 6" off the floor on pallets or racks.
- Hand sink in washroom had liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
