Routine Inspection Waxing: Wax pot in a clean condition. Wax sticks and strips are single-use. Waxing bed lined with single use paper. Haircutting: Barbicide available. Backflow preventer installed at hair washing sink. Facials: Semi critical items disinfected with high-level disinfectant (Pre-Empt CS-20, expiry: May 2024). Single-use lancets used. Sharps disposal available. Laser Hair Removal: No changes to the IPL machine used. Emergency shut-off switch available. Laser wand disinfected with intermediate level disinfectant (70% isopropyl alcohol). Door has laser warning posted. Goggles disinfected with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Tanning booth style goggles must be disinfected with CS20. Eyebrow Tinting: Augenblick Cream Hair Dye (F-5.1, F-1. F-31.) - do not use these products around the eyes as indicated by the manufacturer.Operator discarded products. RefecetoCil used - product labelling meet Health Canada requirements. General Hand sink in hall equipped with hot/cold running water and liquid soap. Single-use towels available nearby (recommend placing them right by the sink).
