Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): The following was observed:
1. Packages of raw eggs stored above ready-to-eat items (e.g. fresh produce) in kitchen refrigerator
2. Mesh bag of onions in contact with floor (bag had slipped off bottom shelf of dry storage shelving)
Corrective Action(s): Ensure that all food items are stored off the floor to protect from potential contamination and to facilitate cleaning of floors. Ensure that raw foods, such as raw shell eggs and meats, are not stored above any items considered ready-to-eat (e.g. cooked foods, fruits and vegetables) to protect from potential contamination.

305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A bin containing a spoiled tomato and liquid from fruits was observed on the dry storage shelving. Several fruit flies were observed in the vicinity.
Corrective Action(s): Bin removed during inspection for cleaning and sanitizing. Ensure that dry storage area is maintained in sanitary condition. Discard any spoiled or overripe fruit and/or vegetables and clean any spills immediately as this may attract pest activity. To further minimize fly populations, fruit may be covered or stored in the refrigerator.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Spray bottle of sanitizer was unlabeled.
Corrective Action(s): Spray bottle of sanitizer was labeled during inspection. Ensure that all chemicals, cleaners, and similar agents are properly labeled to identify contents and limit accidental mixing or misuse.

Routine inspection conducted:

- Kitchen cooler at 3 degrees C
- Mini cooler located in "baby room" at 3 degrees C
- Chest freezer at -19 degrees C
- Hand washing station is unobstructed and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
- High temperature dishwasher measured 75 degrees C at utensil surface (minimum 71 degrees C at utensil surface)
- Bleach water sanitizer available in spray bottle at 200 ppm chlorine
- General sanitation satisfactory
- FOODSAFE requirements met. Certificate expiry year is 2020 for staff member on site.
- Temperature and dishwasher logs maintained.
