Observation: The soap and paper towel dispensers, at the handwashing sink, are not mounted and full. Staff are unable to wash their hands correctly, and this will result in the spread of pathogens and/or contamination of food.
Corrective Action(s): Immediately mount the soap and paper towel dispensers to the wall adjacent to the handwashing sink, fill the dispensers, and ensure they are kept full to allow proper handwashing techniques.

Comments

A routine inspection was conducted, the following observations were made:
- General sanitation level is adequate. Detailed cleaning of the floor, especially under storage racks and preparation tables is needed. There is food debris on the floor in these areas.
- Bleach sanitizer used on food contact surfaces. No solution mixed at time of inspection as premises not doing production due to heat wave.
- No food on-site as no food production being done due to heat wave.
- Food equipment is clean and stored in a safe manner off the floor on shelves.
- No signs of pests.
- Running hot and cold water exits faucets at warewashing sinks.
- Operator proposing a new salad dressing, but not oil based. Operator has completed shelf life testing, but will complete pH and Aw (water activity) testing of product. Please forward the results to our office for review, to determine if the product is shelf stable or requires to be refrigerated at all times.
- COVID-19 safety measures in place. Owner is the only staff, and she works alone.
- Discussed inspection results with the owner. No signature obtained due to the pandemic.
