Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Ice machine at bar observed with pink mold/film along the inside of the filter. Staff turned off the ice machine during inspection.
Correction: Clean and sanitize the aforementioned ice machine as per manufacturer instructions to remove mold/film. Discard the ice currently in the ice machine. Do not use the ice machine until verified in a sanitary condition by the health inspector. Use the ice from the ice machine in the kitchen if necessary.

Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation:
1. Hand washing station upon entrance into kitchen and in back preparation area near the walk-in freezer not supplied with hot water during inspection. Both hot water nozzles at both hand washing stations are observed not in good working order.

2. Hand washing station at bar is not supplied with paper towel. Staff placed paper towel at the hand washing station during inspection.
Correction: Maintain all designated hand washing stations supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel AT ALL TIMES to ensure staff are washing their hands properly before handling food. Hot and cold running water must be available at adequate frequency and temperature to remove physical and biological contaminants. Failure to comply in future may lead to progressive enforcement action.
