Comments

- Retail food store with pre-packaged food products only.
- Retail store area and back storage area are well organized and maintained in sanitary condition
- All food products stored on shelving (15cm off of the floor)
- Coolers were operating at 4C or colder
- Freezers were maintaining food products in a frozen state
- Coolers and freezers temperatures are being checked and recorded three times daily
- Process for product rotation in place. FIFO method used.
- Hot and cold running water available
- Liquid soap and paper towel present in staff washroom and at sink in staff area
- No signs of pest activity noted at time of the inspection. Monthly pest control service in place.
- Operator verifies food products are from approved source by requesting documentation in advance. Records/receipts (electronic) available.
- No re-packaging of food on-site. Any portioning/packaging is done at Commercial Drive location. Ensure products are properly labelled.
