Comments

At today’s inspection there were 21 children and 4 staff present.
At this inspection the above noted contraventions were identified. The Licensee will take action to bring the facility into compliance and provide a written response to Licensing as indicated above. Licensing will review the response.
As part of this routine inspection, a facility risk assessment tool is completed. The risk assessment includes any non-compliance identified during the routine inspection, a 3 year ‘historical’ review of the facility’s compliance and operation. This is used to determine inspection frequency.
The contents of the inspection report were reviewed with the delegated staff and written on-site. A copy of this report will be emailed to the manager and a paper copy mailed to the facility.
The following was discussed with the delegated staff;
- Behavioral guidance techniques
- Reminder about medicine expiry
- Minor incident log
Licensing will send the facility resources regarding care plans.
Visit the CCFL website at www.fraserhealth.ca/childcare for additional resources, and links to the Legislation (CCALA and CCLR).
Thank you for your assistance today and if you have any questions please contact your Licensing Officer.
