Observation: Ice machine observed to have middew growth along the top and around the panel

304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: - Rodent Droppings observed under the two compartment sink by the dishwasher. Staff stated they have recently caught one.
- Hole observed where the pipe comes out of the ground.
Corrective Action(s): - Staff will fill the hole with steel wool.
- Instructed staff to disinfect the area where the rodent droppings are with 1000ppm bleach (10x the amount normally used, 25ml bleach to 1L water).
- Please clean droppings, fill in any holes and gaps, and monitor for more signs.
Cleaning and gap filling to be completed by: Oct 28, 2023
Should more droppings appear please contact professional pest control for full assesment and help to eliminate rodents.
