Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observed the following:
1. Observed a sanitizer spray bottle measuring significantly greater than 200ppm chlorine - test strip observed to be bleaching out.
2. Observed single use cups (no handles) stored inside dry spice containers.
Health Rationale:
1. Chlorine higher than 200ppm increases the risk of potential chemcial contamination of food, leading to potential injury or illness.
2. Improperly stored scoops increase the risk of cross-contaminaiton as staff reach in the container. This may lead to potential foodborne illness.
Corrective Actions:
Operator replaced sanitizer solution (half a cup of bleach per litre of water) verified at 200ppm chlorine at the time of inspection.
Staff removed scoops and replaced with clean scoops with handles at the time of inspection.
