Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Scoops were stored inside ingredient containers with the handles inside the ingredients.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure scoops are stored in a sanitary manner to prevent potential contamination of foods. Scoops were relocated at the time of inspection.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 3C.
-Walk-in freezer was at -13C.
-Display coolers were at 3C and 4C.
-Upright freezers were both less than 4C.
-Cooked chicken is made to order in the evenings.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 2-compartment sink. Sink plugs available and bleach sanitizer present.
-Handwash stations accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Bleach sanitizer spray bottle labelled and tested at 200ppm.
-Cutting surfaces and meat saw sanitized at least every 2 hours.
-Meat grinder was disassembled and was found to be clean and sanitary.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and well maintained. Handwash station supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Operator FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until July 12, 2021.
-Facility has completed renovations to back of facility and has moved some of the equipment around. No health concerns with modifications to facility.
-Please contact the inspector if you have any questions or concerns.
-Operator signature not required at this time due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
