Observation: 1. An open bag of rice is noted in dry storage room.
2. 2 x 4L milk is noted on ground in walk-in cooler downstairs.
3. 6 light tubes in kitchen without plastic tubing or cover.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure food products are all stored at least 6 inches above ground, and transfer open bag of dry goods in food grade containers.
Lights must be covered to protect food from contamination.

304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: Rodent droppings are noted on floor along walls in kitchen area, and in dry storage room. Pest control company visits once a month.
Corrective Action(s): Remove droppings, sanitize areas, and monitor.
Notify pest control of areas where droppings are.
Increase pest control visit if needed until problem is under control.

Observation: 1. A small hole is noted around pipe under dishwashing area.
2. A huge vent (believed to be part of the old dishwasher) is open and exposed to the kitchen area under new dishwasher.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Pest control company is aware of the hole and will be sealing it.
2. Seal hole or close vent to prevent pests from entering the kitchen.
