Observation: Operator has made changes to the existing floor plan without prior Health approval. Changes include:
- Addition of new ventilation hood in the kitchen
- Change in location of handwash sink and prep sink.
Corrective Action(s): Please submit an updated floor plan reflecting the new changes by March 15, 2023. In future, please submit the proposed floor plan prior to making any alterations/changes.

Comments

Routine inspection conducted. Facility only serves vegetarian foods.

Findings:
- Temperature of all coolers recorded at or below 4C
- Freezers maintained at or below -18C
- Hot holding units in food prep area and front service area recorded above 60C
- Handwash sink available and has adequate supply of hot and cold running water, liquid soap and single use paper towels.
- Bleach sanitizer solution available in the spray bottle.
- Low temp mechanical dishwasher in use and 50ppm chlorine residual recorded.
- Food storage practices were satisfactory.
- General sanitation of the facility is excellent.
- Operator has valid FOODSAFE Level 1 (Exp Dec 10, 2023)
- No signs of pest activity observed.
- Back door was properly closed.
- Pest Control Company conducts regular inspections.

Recommendations:
- To prepare 200ppm bleach solution, add 1 teaspoon of bleach solution in 1 Litre of water.
- Food being used during preparation and cooking should not exceed more than 2 hours at room temperature.
- In the dry storage room, store equipment in an organized manner to facilitate regular cleaning.

Overall, the facility is very well maintained.

NOTE - Handsink and prep sink location has been changed but found satisfactory during inspection. Splash guards are in place and adequate supply of hot and cold potable water supply available.
