Observation: Ice machine observed with black mold build up. The ice is used directly in burger patty meat. Operator began cleaning and disinfecting the ice machine during time of inspection. Operator also posted a "do not use" sign on the ice machine.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure the ice machine is not in use until it is cleaned and sanitized according to manufacturer directions. Increase frequency of ice machine cleaning and sanitizing to prevent mold growth.

Routine Inspection Conducted

Observations:
- General Sanitation of premises satisfactory
- Cleaning and sanitation of premises is completed at the end of each day (including all equipment, surfaces, floors)
- All handwashing stations are adequately supplied with liquid soap, paper towel, hot and cold running water
- QUATS stock bottle available on premises - measured with high-level QUATS test strip at 1000 ppm during time of inspection
- All coolers operating at 4C or less
- All freezers operating at -18C or less
- Thermometers available and in place in coolers
- All foods observed at least 6 inches off the ground
- Professional pest management company contracted. No signs of pests during time of inspection
- Operator mentioned that very little food processing is occurring on site. Mostly packaged meats come into the facility and are shipping out throughout province.
- 2-compartment prep sink available on premises
