HAZARD RATING FOR YOUR FACILITY: Low (≤15) Total Score = 5
Critical Hazards: Total Number: 1
302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): One bucket of sanitizer had no detectable chlorine. It was stated that bucket contained a bleach water solution that was prepared in the morining. Note: What appeared to be food debris was observed in the bucket.
Corrective Action(s): A new bleach water sanitizing solution was prepared and measured at 100 to 200 ppm chlorine. Ensure sanitizer solution is being changed as often as needed so that it remains at effective concentrations for food contact surfaces (e.g. change sanitizer solution when it becomes soiled). Sanitizer solution may need to be changed throughout the day depending on use.
Violation Score: 5

Non-Critical Hazards: There are no non-critical hazards.
Follow Up to "Critical" Violations Noted on Previous Inspections (if applicable)
Code 301 noted on Routine inspection # MBEK-BHFVD5 of Oct-30-2019
Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: What appears to be mildew / biofilm (pink film) was observed in crevices of ice machine interior panel and surrounding areas.
Correction: Discard ice as mildew / biofilm may potentially contaminate ice. Thoroughly wash, rinse, then sanitize all interior surfaces of ice machine. Use an approved food contact surface sanitizer (e.g. bleach water sanitizer at 100 ppm chlorine) then allow to completely air dry. Date to be corrected by: Today.
