Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Ice scoop was observed stored overnight in the ice bin with the handle touching the ice. Pathogens from hands can transfer to the handle and subsequently contaminate the ice. Some pathogens are capable of surviving and growing in ice. To correct the violation, the ice scoop was run through the dishwasher during the inspection and the ice that the scoop sat on was discarded.
