Follow-up inspection conducted for inspection report# KLAI-CNNRPX
As per staff, a new compressor has been installed in the front 3-door reach-in cooler. The unit was only holding a couple of items and was fairly empty. Upon checking the air temperature with an infrared thermometer, the temperature was reading 6.0 - 8.0C. When a calibrated thermometer was placed in the unit for a few minutes, the air temperature was able to reach 4.0C. As pointed out by a staff member, this may be due to the poor door seal/ gasket noted at the door that is letting warm air seep in and not keeping the cold air in. Monitor this unit and make sure it is able to hold at 4C or below before storing cold potentially hazardous food items in this unit. Staff mentioned that they take regular temperature check of this unit and avoid overloading the unit to allow for air circulation. Please continue to do this. The unit will be re-evaluated during the next routine inspection. Did not observe any cold potentially hazardous food items over 4.0C.
Cabinet below the front of house handwash station is now noted in a sanitary condition.
As per staff, operator is looking for a sealant to seal off the hole by the 3-compartment sink - to be evaluated during the next routine inspection.

No further follow-up required at this time.
