Observation:
Base of door, in the dry storage rooms which have been decluttered, has spaces where pests can enter.
Corrective Action(s):
Install a door guard or door sweep on the base of the door to prevent entry of pests.

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation:
Found cob webs under sinks; legs of equipment and tables have dust and food debris; storage racks have accumulated food; and walls (by domestic oven & by soup kettles) have accumulated food stains. These conditions may attract and harbor pests.
Corrective Action(s):
Wash and sanitize these arease on a regular schedule.

Comments

A routine inspection was conducted, the following observations were made:
- Coolers 4C or colder; freezers -18C or colder; thermometers present; and temperatures recorded daily.
- Hand sinks stocked with liquid soap, paper towels and running hot and cold water.
- Bleach sanitizer in spray bottles had [Cl2] of 200ppm.
- All foods stored in food grade containers; covered; labeled; date coded; food stored in groups with raw proteins separate from RTE foods; and all foods stored 6" off the floor on shelves or pallets.
- General sanitation level is good. Improvement needed in mentioned areas.
- The premises has improved in de-cluttering rooms and removing unused or broken items, and discarding excess boxes or buckets. Good job.
- No expired foods in use or for sale. FIFO rules being followed.
- Floor has been resealed. It is smoother, sealed and cleanable. Great job.
