Observation: At the time of inspection, operator was not onsite. Staff on duty did not have valid FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent. Staff stated that they have been registered to the course but unable to verify.
Corrective Action(s): Please ensure that in operator's absence, at least one staff on duty has valid FOODSAFE Level 1 certification or equivalent. Please email the district EHO a copy of FOODSAFE Level 1 certification for staff once they have completed the FS Level 1 course.

Comments

Routine inspection conducted.

Findings:
- Facility is very well maintained and operated.
- Temperature of prep coolers, under counter coolers & stand up coolers recorded at or below 4C
- Stainless steel freezers and chest freezers recorded below or at -18C
- Prep coolers were kept closed when not in use. Good.
- All handwash sinks (x2) had adequate supply of hot and cold running water, liquid soap and single use paper towels.
- 200ppm QUATS sanitizer solution recorded in sanitizing pails.
- 3 compartment dishwashing sink used for manual dishwashing. 200ppm QUATS recorded at the dispensing unit. Drain plugs available.
- Food was stored at least 6 inches off the floor.
- Permit posted at the front.
- No signs of pest activity observed.

Note - QUATS sanitizer bottle connected to dispensing unit is less than half filled. Please keep an eye on the level and have it replaced as needed.
