Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Food debris observed on 3 knives stored on the magnetic strips beside the dishwasher.
Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize the aforementioned knives. Knives must be properly cleaned and sanitized after each use.

401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Liquid soap was not available at the hand washing station near the deep fryer.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure liquid soap is avaiable at the above mentioned handwashing station to facilite proper handwashing.

210 - Food not thawed in an acceptable manner [s. 14(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Raw frozen meat observed to be thawing under room temperature. The temperatures for these raw meats were measured at -3C.
Corrective Action(s): Food must be thawed under cold running water or inside a cooler with an ambient temperature of 4C or less. Follow your food safety plan for proper thawing procedures.

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Grease build up observed on the filters of the exhaust canopy. The maintenance sticker stated the expiration date for last cleaning was January, 2019.
Corrective Action(s): Clean the exhaust canopy to ensure grease build up is removed. Correct by: March 18, 2019.

Follow-up inspection:
- Dry storage area had been cleaned.
- Containers of food in the walk in cooler were covered.
- Temperature logs were sporadically maintained. Ensure temperature logs are maintained on a daily schedule.
- Broken food processor had been remove from the premise.
- No staff / operator on site had a valid FOODSAFE Level 1 training. This is an outstanding violation. This must be corrected before March 25, 2019. Further enforcement actions such as Public Health ORDER, violation tickets may be applied if this violation persist.
