Follow up inspection conducted. Corrective actions taken: - Operator reports new process for in use rice scoops. Rice scoops are now being stored in ice water and washed and sanitized in the dishwasher every 3 hours. - Areas of the walls which had food splatter and grime have been cleaned. - Floor between chest freezer and upright freezer had been cleaned. - Operator reported hard to reach areas are now assigned for cleaning weekly (on Sunday) - Peeling paint from ceiling has been removed and the areas sanded. Pending items to be addressed: - Edges of floor in dry storage room to be cleaned - this was missed with initial cleaning - Areas of walls and ceiling where peeling paint was removed requires painting so that surface is smooth, non absorbent and easily cleanable. - Areas of floor with missing tiles to be repaired (ie tiles replaced). Metal sheeting was placed over portions of the floor (under cook line and cooler/freezers) however, it was was not installed properly. Tape is being used to hold it in place and there are crevices present where it overlays existing floor where debris/grime can collect. This is not an acceptable repair. Remove tape and metal sheeting. Flooring must be smooth, durable and easily cleanable to without gaps or crevices to facilitate cleaning. Operator to provide confirmation when the above is complete.
