Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Multiple Cottage Cheese products (Cottage Dreams) measured above 4C in the display cooler next to cashier station.
Corrective Action(s): Two of the 28oz cottage cheese container and one 14oz container measured above 10C and they were discarded at the time of inspection. Move the rest of the cheese products to a functional cooler that is capable of maintaining stored food at 4C or below.

Observation: Spotted fruit flies and house flies at the time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Request pest control company to install fly traps, close the doors, remove any food scraps.

Observation:
- Front door open.
- Accumulation of food scraps throughout the facility.
Corrective Action(s): Keep the doors closed at all times to prevent pest entry.
Clean the produce shelves, floor, equipment, baskets, crates so there is no food scraps left overnight.

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation:
- Accumulation of dust, food scraps, mouse droppings observed in hard to reach areas on floor and shelvings throughout the store
- Soiled walls, baskets and surfaces - including two walk-in coolers.
- Lots of spider webs observed on ceiling lights.
- Washroom is not clean - open cardboard box used as garbage bin.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure areas noted above are all cleaned thoroughly. Install covers for the ceiling lights to prevent spider webs forming on the tubes. Place a proper garbage bin with lid for washroom. Clean and sanitize the walls in the walk-in coolers.

308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation: - Display cooler next to the cashier station measured 7C minimum ambient temperature.
- Door seal for cooler (close to the back door) not tight.
Corrective Action(s):
- The temparature appears to be fine in the middle section of the cooler but as the food items get closer to the edges (left and right), the temperature seems to rise. Adjust the temperature gauge or repair the unit so the stored food items are maintained at 4C or below at any spot of the cooler. Do not store any potentially hazardous food in this cooler until the temperature of 4C or below can be maintained.
- Replace the door seal to allow tight closure of the cooler door. Cold air should not escape through the door gap.

General sanitation has to be addressed. Ensure to have a deep cleaning done for the store. Follow up inspection to be conducted on August 17, 2021 to ensure compliance.
