Observation: Large gap (greater than the diameter of a pencil) observed between the bottom of the left back door and the bakery kitchen floor. No door sweep is installed on this door.
Corrective Action(s): Repair the door sweep on the left door (and both doors if needed) to remove the gap between the bottom of the door and the floor to prevent rodent entry/harbourage/breeding on site.

Follow-up Inspection Conducted

Observations:
- General sanitation has improved significantly. Staff stated that the bakery was deep cleaned recently.
- Hand washing station is supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel
- No signs of recent rodent activity. No other pest activity noted.
- Most recent pest reports have been submitted to the health inspector for review

Reminders:
- Do not store cardboard on any shelves as it is porous and cannot be cleaned adequately.
- Clean and sanitize all hard to reach areas (behind baking equipment and tables) frequently to prevent build-up of food and to prevent rodent activity/harbouring/breeding on site
- Continue to submit all pest reports to the health inspector for review
- Staff in charge to submit a photo of the replaced door sweep to the health inspector via email by Dec 6, 2023.
