Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Blender jug and countertop food processor had food debris observed around the blade and blade attachment area (including under the blade).
Corrective Action(s): Equipment was placed into dishwashing area to be re-cleaned, then rinsed and sanitized. Ensure all equipment is thoroughly cleaned after each use before sanitizing as food debris may potentially have pathogens.

Observation: Manager/operator not on site. No staff on site at the time of inspection had valid FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent training.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure that at all times in the operator's absence, at least one staff member on site has valid FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent certification. Have additional staff certified as needed to ensure at least one staff member on site has valid FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent certification at all times. Date to be corrected by: June 30, 2025.

Routine health inspection.
Walk-in cooler (main kitchen) at 1 degrees C. Note: New door handle is in place.
Walk-in cooler (storage room on left) at 2 degrees C.
Prep cooler at 3 degrees C (above) and 2 degrees C (below).
Sweets coolers at 4 degrees C or less.
Walk-in freezer at -15 degrees C.
Thermometers/temperature gauges in place for cold holding units.
No changes to cooling and thawing procedures. Cooked food is frozen to help facilitate rapid cooling and then defrosted in the walk in cooler.
Raw meats/eggs not stored above ready-to-eat food. Food is generally covered.
Scoops stored with handles outside of food product.
Hand sinks are accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towels.
Proper hand washing practices observed at time of inspection. Hair is restrained (hair nets in use).
Two compartment sink supplied with hot and cold running water.
Three compartment sink supplied with hot and cold running water and sink plugs. Bleach water sanitizer was available in the third sanitizing compartment at 100 ppm chlorine.
High temperature dishwasher measured 72 degrees C at the utensil surface during the final rinse.
Bleach water sanitizer was available in buckets and was measured at 100 to 200 ppm chlorine.
Dry storage areas well organized and clean.
Premises is serviced by pest control on a bi-weekly basis. Reports reviewed at time of inspection. Significant improvement in sanitation and pest control observed in the premises at the time of inspection. A few droppings were observed in hard to reach areas of the floor (e.g. corners / under equipment)--ensure these areas are accessed for cleaning and sanitizing, and monitor for new signs of pest activity. Areas were shown to staff on site at the time of inspection.
