A routine inspection was completed, the following observations were made: - During the inspection, the storage rack system was in the process of being replaced with new racks. The bay doors are left open during the day during the change. - Coolers 4C or colder; freezers -20C or colder; thermometers present; and temps recorded 3x a day. - General sanitation level is good. - No signs of pests. Orkin Pest Company contracted to monitor for pests monthly in winter and 2x a month in summer. - All foods stored 6" off the floor on pallets or on racks. - Increased frequency of cleaning has occurred due to minor renovations occurring. ACTION - Repair the seals on the walk-in-freezer sliding door. Build up of ice around the door frame is occurring and is a safety issue for staff. Ice could fall on them, or they could slip on the ice accumulated on the floor of the walk-in-freezer.
