Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1. Scoop at brew bar and its holder had milk residue. This is a utensil that has direct contact with ice.
2. Brew bar dispensing area (ice coffee) has spill from dispensing area, to counter to floor. Spill appears partially dried up and is from last night, >4-6hrs ago. From last night shift. Station is being actively used.
3. Soda station at front: wet receipt dated 08/06/2023 found inside ice for consumption.
4. Drink dispensing area, plastic around single use containers and McFlurry area all covered in layers of food debris. From last night shift.

Corrective Action(s): 1. Milk scoop was cleaned during the inspection, thank you.
2, 3. Clean entire brew bar area. Do not serve until this is cleaned up. This was done during the inspection, thank you.
4. Discard all ice at soda station. This was done during the inspection, Thank you.

Observation: Some flies in kitchen and dining areas. No other signs of pests.
One drive through window closing mechanism needs fixing.
Other one is manual close.
Garbage out back has flies.
Corrective Action(s): Follow up with recommendations from pest control.
Recommend self closing windows and doors.
Install screen out back that is self closing when staff take out garbage.
Deep clean all areas to ensure no breeding.

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1. Prep table not cleaned after use. Food debris on this table. This has been the case during each routine inspection.
2. Spills on floors from last night shift, partially dried, in high traffic area in kitchen.
3. Receipts and litter on floors in both kitchen and dining areas from last night.
4. Grime on floors in dining areas, appear to be older.
5. Sanitizing sink has pickles and other food debris at the bottom.
6. Wooden cutting board for donuts and muffin storage and display has signs of mold or discoloration, visible from customer side.
Display case is smeared and has residual food debris.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Prep table cleaned during inspection, Thank you.
Recommend to place the sanitizer bucket closer; remind staff to wipe down after use.
2. Spills cleaned during inspection.
Do not leave spills. Clean immediately to ensure safety of staff and public.
3, 4. Clean grime and sticky spots and more regular cleaning of floors in all areas is needed.
5. Staff picked out pickles during the inspection; be sure to also sanitize this sink before adding dishes. This should be the cleanest sink.
6. Clean and sanitize display case and wooden cutting boards.

Hand wash station at driver entrance (brew bar) supplied with liquid soap and paper towels in dispensers.
Coolers <4C.
Freezers <-18C.
Hot holding units for meats and eggs >60C.
Scoops for ice stored separately and not in ice.
Washrooms are fully supplied for hand hygiene.
Garbage bags removed promptly and regular basis.
Staff observed to wash their hands after tasks that require hand hygiene (at the brew bar), thank you.
Flight lights and fly tape away from food prep areas.

Management needs to ensure all areas are clean and sanitary from one shift to the next or at the beginning of shift.
All direct food contact areas and surfaces needs to be priority for cleaning.
