Observation: Few rodent droppings observed on the floor along the wall where white chest freezer is located.
Corrective Action(s): - Remove the rodent droppings and disinfect the area with 1 part bleach to 9 part water solution.
- Conduct regular cleaning of the affected area to prevent build up of food debris that could attract pest into the facility.
- Conduct refular montoring for any new rodent activity.
- Keep entry points such as back door closed and seal any gaps (if noticed)

Comments

Routine inspection conducted.

Findings:
- 2 walk in coolers and 2 prep coolers recorded at or below 4C
- Beverage cooler at 2C
- Freezers below -18C
- Hot holding unit recorded at 70C
- Temperature logs maintained and found up to date (good).
- Handwash sink available and had adequate supply of hot and cold running water, liquid soap and single use paper towels.
- 3 comp dishwashing sink used for warewashing and 200ppm bleach solution was prepared in 3rd sink.
- 200ppm bleach sanitizer pails available in food prep areas.
- Food storage practices were satisfactory.
- Vents serviced in Dec 2022.
- General sanitation of facility was excellent.
- Staff has valid FOODSAFE Level 1 (Exp July 2024).
- Mechanical traps present throughout the facility.
Overall, good job at maintaining the facility.

NOTE - Please focus on the recent pest issue in the facility and implement appropriate control measures.
