Handsinks were supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and single-use paper towels.
Coolers were at or below 4 degrees C.
Freezers were at or below -18 degrees C.
Refrigeration units were equipped with thermometers.
Rotisserie chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 85 degrees C according to staff (minimal required: 82 degrees C).
Probe thermometer was available on-site.
Hot-held chicken (in the retail area) was at or above 60 degrees C.
Ventilation hood was in a clean condition.
Cleaning frequency for deli slicers is every 30 minutes and at the end of the day according to staff. This meets the minimal cleaning frequency of at least every 4 hours between use on deli meats and end of the day.
Staff informed they disassemble the deli slicers prior to cleaning and sanitizing them.
200 ppm QUATS sanitizer was available in a labelled spray bottle.
200 ppm QUATS was available from the dispenser of the third compartment sink unit.
3-compartment sink unit was supplied with hot and cold running water and it was equipped with sink plugs.
No signs of recent pest activity was evident at the time of inspection.
Pest control program was in place via Rentokil on a monthly basis. Most recent pest control report from February 2023 was reviewed.
Assistant Manager has recently renewed their FOODSAFE Level 1 equivalent course training based on his successful completion of Foodwise (issue date: March 3, 2023).

Signature is not required on this report due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
