Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Spray bottle labelled bleach and water - 0 ppm chlorine detected.
Bottle labelled sanitizer - >>400ppm quats detected.
Corrective Action(s): Provide either 100-200 ppm chlorine for sanitizing (1tsp domestic bleach in 1 liter of water made fresh daily) OR use quats as per the directions on the bottle (200ppm as per label on quats chemical bottle). Quats diluted with water during inspection.

School cafeteria kitchen and teaching kitchen.
Inspection is at end of shift. No hot holding or food preparation observed.
Coolers are at 4C/40F or colder.
Freezer is at -18C/0F or colder.
Thermometers are available to check temperatures.
Staff advise that there are several Food Safe trained staff (note that certificates expire after 5 years/renew prior to expiry).
Menu is mainly cook/serve or prepare/serve items.
No menu items with raw eggs.
Food safety plan and sanitation plan were not reviewed during inspection. Ensure meat slicer is on sanitation plan.
Hand sink has liquid soap, paper towels in dispensers, and hot/cold water.
Premises is being kept clean (mechanical exhaust clean, floors along walls ok).
Sanitizers - see above.
Commercial dishwasher - hot water sanitizing rinse achieved (180F measured at the gauge and 160F / 71C reached inside of machine as per temperature strip).
Pest control - monitoring trap empty. No evidence of pests.
