Drain/sink stoppers are not available at the time of inspection.

Observation: Two opened tin containers in the walk-in cooler:
1. Pois Chickes; Sun-Brite; Garbanzos; 100 oz liq/2.84 L;
2. Belvario; Pizza Cut Pineapple in small pieces in liquid syrup; 2.84 L; 3320;
Two bags of onions on the floor in the utility/storage room;
Open bag of rice stored directly on the floor (the kitchen/near the rice storage bin);
Corrective Action(s): Food must be transferred in to food grade containers with lids (Some tin containers can leach harmful compounds into food).
Today. All food must be stored off the floor (6").

Observation: Fruit flies in the back utility/ storage room (above two bags of onions).

Observation: Greasy kitchen storage shelves; grease build up on a fan hood (Note: New label for cleaning is not available on the fan hood);

General sanitation required improvement (see the violation section).
Hand-washing sinks stocked with cold/hot running water, soap, and paper towels in dispensers.
Walk-in, two front inserts, beverage coolers - satisfactory;
Chest freezers (in the back storage room and walk-way) - satisfactory;
Note: It is not the best practice to store food in the common area.
Hot holding unit (rice) at 68 C;
Note: Observed a secondary cooking step for all donair meat.
Bleach sanitizer (a bulk/in the container) - available; however 3 comp. sink is not set; no spray sanitizer;
Mostly food is covered.
Single use gloves are in use;

Friendly reminder:
- Do not block the kitchen hand sink (a preparation is on going at the time of inspection & box with cucumbers & tomatoes on a high chair front of the kitchen hand sink);
- Thermometers for all cold units must be available as well as insert thermometer(s) for food;
- Temperature log has to be maintained.
- Food storage containers must be properly cleaned and sanitized/not reused right away/ before putting fresh food;
- Do not store personal belongings (eg., cell phones) on the prep.counters;

Note: FOODSAFE certified must be available on site as well as Health Permit.
