A routine inspection was done, the following observations were made:
- All coolers 4C or colder and thermometers present.
- No expired foods, or over-ripe foods for sale.
- Hand sinks stocked with liquid soap paper, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- The fruit and veggie processing and packaging areas was clean and organized. The cutting boards and knives were clean and in good condition.
- General sanitation level has improved and is good. Minimal foods found under the retail food bins, and minimal boxes being stored under the food bins on the floor. Keep up the good work.
- The walk-in-cooler floor is clean, improvement seen in this area too.
- Fruit flies found in premises, but mechanical means in place to decrease their numbers. Ensure to mop up all pooling water and clean all surfaces with hot water and soap at the end of the day to remove water and food sources for the flies. Empty all garbage cans and place the garbage in the outside dumpster at the end of each night.
