Observation: Shelves in kitchen area were found lined with newspaper. This is not an easy to clean material.
All surfaces must be made of easy to clean material.
Corrective Action(s): Remove the newspaper immediately.

Cold potentially hazardous food stored/displayed above 4 °C. [s. 14(2)]
Observation: Front display cooler at 8c.
Correction: All coolers must be at 4c (40F) at all times. Fix the front display cooler so that it is at 4c or below at all times.
Followup inspection to be conducted on august 24, 2018.
Comments

Routine inspection.
Handwashing stations are equipped with hot/cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels.
All dispensers are installed.
All Coolers are at 4c or below and equipped with thermometers.
Note: One cooler is not in operation at this time. Cooler cutting board is being used for food preparation.
All Freezers at -18c or below.
Bleach is available for sanitizing all food contact surfaces and 3 compartment sink.
All dry foods are stored in closed containers with lids.
All containers are labelled appropriately.
All foods are located off the floor.
Overall sanitation is adequate.
No pest issues noted during time of this inspection.
Employees are directed to wear hair nets and proper protective wear upon entering kitchen area. This is good.
Operator has valid foodsafe certification.
