Comments

No major efforts have been made to address the sanitation deficiencies. Pest control inspection has not happened as of this date.
However, some glue traps have been placed in dry storage areas and near the hot water tank.

* Mice droppings noticed in the under counter cabinets used for storing cutlery and jams etc.
* A couple of live cockroaches were observed underneath the double wash sink.

A correction ORDER was issued.

The following steps must be taken in addition to any outstanding items from the previous inspection.

1. Hire a licensed pest control company to perform a through inspection and implement IPM program for mice and cockroaches.
2. Clean the floors especially underneath the sinks, dishwasher, behind the hot water tank, underneath the ice maker, fridges and freezers underneath potato storage pallets.
3. Check for evidence of mice in all cabinets and remove all items (especially dishes, cutlery and food equipment) for through washing and sanitizing prior to use.
4. Replace the flooring in the staff washroom.
5. Clean floor in the delivery corridor and dish stripping areas. Re-organize all storage areas to discourage pest harborage.
6. Remove all excessive clutter, boxes and other unused items from the premises.
7. All food deliveries must be stored on the shelves. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO BE STORED ON THE FLOOR AND AGAINST THE WALL TO PREVENT MICE HARBORAGE.
8. Repair the water leak from ice maker or replace the unit.
