Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Liquid ice cream mixture in the plastic pouches in the ice cream machine holding cabinet (on the bottom) was at 9.7 deg C.
Corrective Action(s): Discard ice cream mixture. Even if the ice cream is coming out cold/frozen at the dispenser, it must also be kept/stored at 4 deg C or less or bacteria will grow inside it.

401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 2 of the 3 handwash stations in the front cashier area are not in proper working order:
1) Handwash station on far left side near the washroom area is not dispensing any soap
2) Handwash station by the drive thru window has no hot running water.
Currently, only the middle handwash station has liquid soap, paper towels, and hot/cold running water.
Corrective Action(s): Repair the above mentioned 2 handwash stations immediately. In the meantime, staff will need to use the middle handwash station until the other two are repaired.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Ice scoop stored directly on top of ice box (dirty surface).
Corrective Action(s): Wash/rinse/sanitize scoop and do not store directly on top of the ice box. Staff got a plastic container for the ice scoop.
