Follow-up inspection conducted for inspection report# KLAI-CF7PWD
Did not observe non-food grade container (e.g. Home Depot containers) being used for food storage.
Missing light shield has been replaced. All light fixtures on the premises are protected from accidental breakage/ shatter.
Improvement noted on the sanitation condition in the areas cited during the last routine inspection. Dish sink sprayer coil noted clean. No mouse droppings were observed in the dry storage area and along the garage door where the walk-in cooler is located.
As per operator, pest control company comes in bi-weekly for inspection.
Note: Operator has renewed his FOODSAFE certificate - expires June 25, 2027

As the start of the inspection, the back door was still propped open. However, the operator was able to provide evidence that they have made an attempt to correct this issue - screen door has been purchased for the back door. To be installed.
Chemical spray bottles were still noted with missing name label - issue was corrected at the time of inspection.

Outstanding violations from the routine inspection:
Food still noted stored uncovered in the refrigeration unit and some containers of food were stored directly on the floor. Please ensure all food in the refrigeration unit are stored protected and covered to avoid potential contamination. Food products must also be stored off the floor in the walk-in cooler to avoid dust and debris being kicked on the food/ plastic wrap.
Minor cleanliness issue noted on the floor in the walk-in cooler and under the metro-shelving (mouse droppings were noted) in the dry storage area with the walk-in cooler unit.

Thank you for correcting the violations cited during the last routine inspection. Please maintain the facility as it is now and work on the outstanding violations for the next routine inspection. No further follow-up required at this point.
