Observation: 1. Ice machine observed with a build-up of brown debris on the machine under the lid.
2. Drink nozzles connected to pop syrup in front area observed with long-standing debris.
Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize all food contact surfaces (ice machine, and drink nozzles) to prevent cross contamination and the attraction of pests.

Observation: 1. Bowl with no handle observed stored in container of dry rice.
2. Tools and spray bottle of WD40 stored beside boxes of pop syrup across from three-compartment sink.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Bowl was removed. Ensure that a scoop with a handle is used to scoop dry goods. Store scoop in a sanitary manner outside the bin.
2. Store tools and any chemicals in a separate area away from food and food contact surface to prevent chemical contamination.

304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: Large amount of rodent droppings observed on the bottom shelving under the front till area.
Corrective Action(s): Contact pest control company. Remove all items from shelf. CHECK inside ALL boxes stored below the till area and discard any open boxes that have been contaminated by rodent droppings. Spray 200 ppm bleach in the affected areas. Remove rodent droppings wearing gloves and mask and clean the shelving area with bleach thoroughly.

Observation: Long-standing debris observed in the following areas:
1. Under shelving across from three-compartment sink
2. Under shelving where flour is stored.
3. Under shelf and oven beside the walk-in cooler.
Corrective Action(s): Clean all areas from long-standing debris to maintain the premises in sanitary condition and prevent the attraction of pests.

Corrections Needed:
- Post your Covid-19 Safety Plan so staff will be able to access it
- Have a copy of your most recent Pest Control Report available for next inspection for inspector
- All tables and chairs in dining room area should be spaced 2 meters apart (from the back of one chair to the back of another chair) to allow for proper social distancing.

Observations During Inspection:
- Pest control program in place
- Handsinks adequately supplied with hot/cold water, soap, and paper towel
- Coolers achieving temperatures of 4 C or below
- Freezers achieving temperatures of -18 C or below
- Hot foods held at 60 C or higher
- Chlorine Sanitizer solution in use throughout food preparation areas and at concentrations of greater than or equal to 200ppm
- Three compartment sink method in use and at concentrations of greater than or equal to 200ppm Chlorine
- Three functional sink plugs available for use observed
- Raw meat stored away from Ready to Eat food items
- All food items covered in cooler and freezer units
- Pest proof containers for all dry storage items
- Light covers in place
- Good hand washing practices observed - EXCELLENT!
- FoodSafe Certified staff present during inspection
