Report of Findings
Licensing received a complaint on October 25, 2022, regarding Care and Supervision, Nutritiuon and Food Services, Hygiene and Communicable Disease Control and Records and Reporting.

The following information was provided:
- Manager screams at children
- Children are denied water when they ask for it
- Children are not provided toilet paper
- Staff are not trained in the care of a child requiring extra support
- A care plan is not in place for a child

All areas of the complaint were investigated. Licensing determined the following contraventions:
- Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) S. 52(1)(b)
- CCLR S. 58(1)(b)

19220 - CCLR s.58(1)(b)A licensee must keep, for each child requiring extra support, a current care plan showing the following information: (b) the courses of action recommended by health care professionals to address the needs of the child requiring extra support.
Observation: A care plan was in place but it did not address the special training, considerations, and directions regarding a therapeutic diet given to a child while in care.
Corrective action: Corrective action required.
